Situated 5 km south of lindos this was once the lindians summer hideway and a daytime retreat for visitors to Lindos. During the past fifteen years or so, Pefkos has grown into a popular resort in its own right. Sandy and sheltered, the main Pefkos beach offers sunbeds, umbrellas and a fantastic sunset. There are several other small beaches and rocky inlets along the coast, some with facilities, others natural, peaceful and uncrowded.
Pefkos has a variety of good restaurants and lively bars as well as a number of supermarkets and tourist shops.
Known for its leisurely pace and tranquility is an ideal base in the south.
